Scope & Content File consists of Corporation of Delta Engineering Services Environmental Control Office " Ladner Harbour Proposal, Delta, B.C." September 1977. Spiral bound report, 22 pages with original pull out technical drawings, maps, original artwork and original photographs. Possibly a master copy. The proposal was created by the Corporation of Delta because they saw a need for a modern commercial fishing harbour (boat basin) in the community and there were many requests for a small craft harbour. In the proposal they ask that the Harbour Branch of Fisheries and Marine Services construct, fund, manage and operate a small craft harbour in the Ladner Slough in Delta. The report contains valuable statistics regarding feasability studies and results from 1970-1976, economic assessments as well as photographs of net sheds, Ladner Slough, River Rd. East, Gunderson slough and moored fishing boats.
