Scope:
The fonds consists primarily of records created and received by the Secretary-Treasurer of the Board of School Trustees, and therefore are largely related to the functions of this office, which include: keeping records of all meetings; all matters of finance, the operation and maintenance of buildings, the maintenance of furniture and equipment; and all purchases required by the Board, as well as stocks of supplies and merchandise. Records were originally arranged in accordance with these functions, and this order has been maintained or restored. The insurance report, contained in a grey duo-tang, includes photographs and floor plans of Delta schools and of the Delta School Board Office. This series contains forms recording the results of examinations taken by students in the Delta School District. The series contains High School Entrance examination results from public elementary schools (1920-1938) including Trenant, Inverholm, Ladner, Annieville, Mosher Siding, Delta Central, Kennedy, and Sunbury. Information recorded on the forms includes candidate name, age, exam number, subjects, total marks, order of merit, and whether or not the student was recommended and/or promoted.The series also contains matriculation and university entrance exam results from King George V (Ladner) High School, which later became Delta High School (1920-1952)

Scope:
This series consists of seven files containing permanent records of pupils attending schools in the Delta School District. Two files containing records dating from c.1920-1940 include students from several schools, including Delta Central, Ladner Elementary, Inverholme, Westham Island, Sunbury, Alexandra, and Canoe Pass. In later years, records from each school were filed separately; the following records are included in this series: Ladner Elementary (1950--1969); Annieville Elementary (1961--1969); and Kennedy School (1942-1949). A seventh file contains permanent records of Japanese--Canadian students who attended Kennedy Elementary in the 1930's and 1940's and who were deported during World War II. Personal information included in the records include: name, sex. date of birth, parent occupation, "racial origin", "health defects", and results of intelligence tests. Some health records are also in the series. Records are arranged alphabetically by student surname.

Item is an architectural drawing of the proposed one room addition to the Sunbury School. The blueprint shows the plan of the first school as well as the proposed additions. It shows the present and new room, the elevations, the foundation plan and the porch and interior details of the school. The drawing has a legend describing areas of concrete, wood and brick.
