Description:
a) soft torso with white glazed porcelain arms, legs and face; black painted shoes ansd hair; dress is beige with blue and green small flowers design; pink yarn belt and trim at bottom; collar and sleeves are trimed with lace; cheese cloth petticoat; cotton legs and pantaloons with lace edges. (all clothes are stitched on) b) bonnet made from same material as dress (blue and green flowers on beige background); pink yarn trim and brown ribbon ties under the dolls chin.

a) model, general store; small rectangular box cut-away at fron; wooden with wood grain wallpaper glued over surface; slightly raised roof line along front; white horizontal sign reads, "Butler's Store"; cedar shake porch roof supported by post at each end of cut-away section; store contains many loose items; those items attached to store walls or floors are: stove, gun rack, coat hooks, calendar, deerhead, 2 framed archival photos (miniature) of Ladner Tug-o-war teams - left is 1900 and right is from 1935; a trophy, clock, mirrored coca-cola sign, a telephone, canned goods shelving unit with canned goods, a buffet with cash register, weigh scale and grinder; interior walls of store are covered with turquoise blue, pinstriped wall paper; floor covered in mock parquet floor - condition: good b) model, newspapers: four miniature newspapers, readable under a magnifier; glued together in staggered order; folded horizontally, black and white print - condition: fair c) model tools: 14 tools mounted on a white peg board covered in clear plastic; arranged in 2 rows; top row has 1 scissors, 1 garden shears, 1 screwdriver, 1 hammer, 1 axe, 1 set square(?), 1 funnel; bottom row has 1 paint brush, 2 large saws, 1 keyhole saw, 3 wrenches - condition: excellent d) lyre, miniature: metal painted gold; u-shaped with three vertical prongs in the centre - condition: very good e-f) bottles, miniature: 2 identical clear glass bottles with cork tops in self-seal clear plastic pouch - condition: excellent g) painted sign advertising "Coca Cola" lettering in 4 separate lines: ICE COLD (small letters)/ COCA-COLA (large letters)/ AS ALWAYS/ FIVE 5 CENTS; outlined in white, black, green and yellow (form outside-in); Background is read; lettering is gold and white; metal with magnet attached and original price tag reading 5.99 - condition: good h) light fixture: All plastic material; white plastic disc to fit on ceiling. Connected to disc is a small gold coloured applicance from which is suspended a white electrical cord and 3 gold chains which hold up the apparatus for the lantern style fixture; white, wide hurrican style top; fitting onto gold base - inside is an elongated light bult; suspended over an oil container base (gold) condition: very good i) miniature milk can; cylindrical silver coloured plastic milk can; upper 1/3 has chipped blue paint and is separated from lower part. Condition: fair j) miniature mounted fish: fish silver coloured composition material with redish strip (salmon?), mounted dark stained board - encased in self seal plastic pouch; "MS 1984" written in pen on back. Condition: good k) miniature shopping bag: pale blue paper shopping bag with white string handles and black lettering on both sides; one side says "HOBBYS & SUCH Inc., 259-2888 Calgary", other side has a musical note and "It's a small world after all..." Condition: Very good l) miniature Ice Cream Keeper and Dispenser: plastic, painted silver, rectangular ice cream keeper and dispenser with 2 circular lids at counter level; large black and white decal on the front reading "ICE CREAM 5 cent CONES" with an illustration of an ice cream cone. Condition: very good m) miniature sugar sack: cotton sack with cotton stuffing stamped red and black lettering on one side says "Old Mill Sugar 50 lbs." Condition: good n) miniature coffee sack: white cotton exterior - stuffed with cotton; stamped black and red lettering on one side whicfh reads "100% Columbian Coffee Folds". Condition: good o) flour sack, miniature: white cotton flour sack, appears to contain flour; pound paper decal stuck on one side says "Purity Flour Mills Limited". Condition: good p) Chicken feed sack, miniature: green cotton sack with small orange, white and gold flowers. White sticker pasted to one side says "Red-Hen Chicken starter" in black letters; stuffed with cotton, Condition: very good 1) coke bhottle, miniature: plastic coke bottle; traditional shape, red top: "Coca-Cola" on plastic strip around outside middle; bottle filled with brown plastic. Condition: very good r) egg crate with eggs, miniature: unpainted wooden egg crate made of wooden slats and 2 solid end pieces containing 19 eggs, botton is solid piece of wood and top is open. Condition: fair s) rubber boots, miniature: 1 pair of black high rubber boots, medium high heels; has stitching decoration. Condition: good t-u) Coal scuttle and shovel, miniature: black plastic coal scuttle and shovel, contains tiny lumps of coal. Condition: good v) Spittoon, miniature: brase spittoon; circular body with rim around centre; top opens up to flat rim; cylindrical hole into body of spittoon. Condition: excellent w-x) Rifles, miniature: 2 identical lead rifles, long barrels, butts painted brown, rest is black. Condition: good dd) Display counter, model; rectangular wooden display counter; clear plastic on front, top and two sides of counter; 2 wood panels in back that slide, each has a little handle; several items glued onto top of counter: milk bottle, coke bottle, Campbell's Green Pea Soup, Campbell's Chicken Soup, package of 20 eggs, coloured small balls in jar and a jar labelled "nuts". Ethnic female doll (?); limbs, torso and head filled with sawdust and covered with linen; dress top made from green linen and laced down the front; orange felt skirt with vertical green/yellow linen stripes and shoulder straps; embroidered features; gold-metal hoop earrings; yellow linen booties sewn as part of legs; individually sewn fingers and thumbs; tall, pointed black cap; small tufts of brown hair under cap; back of head bare (shows crude stitching and was probably covered with more brown hair originally); clothing is machine sewn; no joints.
